Basically, the package provides a ready-made transparent and durable panel that will fit the size of the existing door frame. The lower part of this panel is the pet patio door, which is actually a flexible section that enables the pet to step through it with comfort.

Just mark out the pet door dimensions on the side where you are installing it and allow for couple of inches on each side and not too far from the bottom so the pet can comfortably pass through it. Place some drop cloths or any plastic sheets around the area you are working and have a trash container ready. Now, carefully put the ready-made panel onto the proposed area. When all sides of the panel are strongly and firmly attached to the door frame, then it is the right time to insert the flaps. After successfully installing the flap, it is time to allow your pet to try it out. It is important that your pet is able to get in and out easily. If any adjustments need to be made for your pet, now is the time to do so.
