Every environment on Earth has some sort of wildlife that lives there. Forests have squirrels, bears, wolves, owls, deer, and many other animals. Deserts have snakes, scorpions, lizards, and other cold-blooded animals that need the sun’s extra heat to survive. Places like lakes, rivers, ponds, and oceans are full of fish, crustaceans, shellfish, sharks, alligators, and many other animals that make water their home. Sometimes the squirrel enter in your kitchen and they will make that new kitchen table into their new home. This is when people call rodent removal Salt Lake City.
The Forest Is a Special Place
The forest is full of wildlife. There are hundreds of species of birds that live and travel in the forest. Beavers build dams on the rivers in the forest. Squirrels teach their babies how to forage for food in the forest. Bears pick berries and hunt for fish in the forest. It is a magical place where thousands of different species of animals all live together in a special balance with each other. Many forests get a lot of water and a lot of sunlight which is why so many different species of animals and plants can live there.
The Desert Is Super Dry!
There are many different species of snakes, lizards, mice, and small animals that live in the desert. Most deserts are very hot, but some deserts are very cold! All deserts are extremely dry! These animals need the extra heat or dryness to live. Many of these animals rely on the sun to warm their bodies up because they are cold-blooded. Cold-blooded animals cannot regulate their own body heat. There are not many plants in the desert because there isn’t a lot of water. Cacti plants and small shrubs feed most of the wildlife that lives there. The desert is a very harsh place and many humans do not like to live there.
There are many different kinds of water on Earth. There are ponds, lakes, rivers, streams, seas, and oceans. There are a lot of animals that need to live in water. Fish are one of the most varied species of animal on Earth. There are fish that live in warm water, fish that live in cold water, fish that live in fresh water, and fish that live in salt water. Some fish like to live near the surface where the sun shines the hardest and some fish that like to live at the bottom where it gets really dark. Then there are frogs, crocodiles, alligators, hippos, birds, beavers, polar bears, seals, and hundreds of different animals that also live in watery worlds. All of these animals need more water than animals that live in other environments.
Isn’t it cool that there are so many different types of animals that live in different places?
Most of the time wild animals and humans live very separate. Sometimes people move to a place where no other people have lived before. These people may build a new home in the middle of the forest, for example. The wildlife that used to live there must adapt to having humans living there. Every once in a while an animal will wander into a person’s house or garage and get trapped or scared. When this happens the people who live there have to get these animals out of their house or garage safely so that the animals -or people don’t get hurt. Wild animals and humans do not live very well together.
